Privacy Policy

PassKip ("we", "us") provides a tool for designing and distributing digital wallet passes for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, available at passkip.ca. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information — the email address and company name you provide when you sign up.
- Pass content — the passes you create: names, field labels and values, colors, uploaded images (logos, strip and background art), and barcode values.
- Install data — when someone adds one of your published passes to their wallet, we record a randomly generated serial number, the wallet type (Apple or Google), and a timestamp. We do not receive the installer's name, email, or device identity through this flow.
How we use it
We use your account and pass content to provide the service — generating and cryptographically signing your passes, hosting public install pages, and showing you install counts and analytics for your own passes. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Service providers
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Apple Wallet & Google Wallet — pass delivery to end users. Apple Wallet passes are signed with our Apple Pass Type certificate.
Data access, retention, and security
Your data is isolated to your company account through database row-level security, served over HTTPS. We retain your passes and install data until you delete them or close your account. You can request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.
Cookies
We use a session cookie solely to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
